5K RUN

5K Run begins at 8:31am on Saturday, May 25, 2013

The Brat Fest 5K Run starts and finishes on the grounds of Willow Island.  Runners will enjoy the scenery as they run through tree canopied streets, along the shores of Wingra Creek and back to the finish. The course is fun and challenging with lots of great scenery. The 5K Run is a chip-timed event. No strollers or pets allowed on this course.

Runners will finish on the grounds of the World's Largest Brat Fest, where they will be whisked away to a world of culinary delights,  live music and cheering fans. The World's Largest Brat Fest is a four-day celebration of food, music and family fun. Each year, nearly 125,000 visitors flock to Willow Island at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI to enjoy the festival. For more details about Brat Fest, please click here.

Female Course Record - The fastest female 5K runner to finish under 17 minutes receives $450*

Male Course Record - The fastest male 5K runner to finish under 15 minutes receives $450*
